Does Divii use AI? +
The platform's agreement engine is deterministic, meaning your inputs always produce consistent, traceable outputs with no unpredictable AI involvement in the core document. An optional AI writing tool is available for drafting unique clauses, but it is never invoked automatically.
Do the Agreements export to Word? +
Yes. You can export the agreement as a fully formatted Microsoft Word document or PDF.
Is my client data secure? +
Divii operates on secure cloud infrastructure hosted in Canada, with layered security controls including encryption and role-based access management. Client data stays in Canada, handled in alignment with guidance Canadian law societies have issued around the responsible use of technology in legal practice.
Is Divii a practice management software? +
No. Divii is a lawyer-built family law platform with an integrated set of tools designed for the specific work of separation: agreement drafting, property distribution, parenting time planning, support calculations, and pension valuation estimations. It completes your legal tech stack by providing tools family lawyers use on every file and can be integrated with Clio practice management software.
What if I don't draft a lot of agreements? +
Divii is just as valuable for planning and providing ILA as it is for drafting an agreement. Enter the terms of the agreement your client has brought in, and Divii generates a completed Separation Agreement you can use to compare terms and check numbers. Gaps, missing clauses, and imbalanced settlements become far easier to spot and explain. By the time you sit down with your client, you've done more than read through their agreement.
How much does Divii cost? +
Divii for Lawyers is CA$249 per user per month, with unlimited files and a Premium Listing in the Divii Professional Directory, or CA$2400 per user billed yearly. Firm plans are priced for your firm; contact us and we will put a plan together.
Is there a free trial? +
Yes. Request your trial on the free trial page, and once we verify that you are a lawyer practicing in Canada we send your trial link by email. The verification step keeps the lawyer platform for lawyers. If you would rather see a complete file first, book an in-person or virtual demo with our team.
Can my client work in the file? +
Yes. Send your client a portal link and they enter their own information, which flows through every tool and into the agreement. You can also share the draft with opposing counsel, and review happens inside Divii with comments and tracked changes.
Does Divii integrate with Clio? +
Yes. Divii integrates with Clio practice management software, so it completes your legal tech stack rather than replacing it.
