Meet the founder
Hi, I'm Rebecca Alleyne. I am a Family Lawyer, Family Law Mediator, and CEO of Divii. I've been practicing family law for almost 20 years and have refined a successful client-centred mediation practice focused on negotiating and drafting separation agreements.
Early in my career as a family lawyer, I often felt like I was a guide with no compass. I had the knowledge and experience to get my clients through their separation, but I had no direction or an efficient process to make sure they did so mindfully, quickly, or affordably. I was reactive in my practice and felt like I was barely keeping up.
But when I started mediating, people were looking to me for a process. They expected a proactive system to lead them through their separation quickly, fairly, and affordably, and they anticipated an immediate high-quality, error-free separation agreement that reflected their decisions. I turned to technology to create the automated tools to systemize the process and provide consistent and predictable outcomes for my clients.
These tools were straightforward and efficient for my clients and I was saving about 30 hours per month not having to reinvent the wheel each time. It become the foundation for every file and helped me stay on track, lead my clients through their separations confidently, and save time in the process. And when I started charging flat rates for the services, I started making more money than ever!
